John M. Templeton Jr. M.D. February 19, 1940 – May 16, 2015
It is with deep sadness that we at the Center for Character and Citizenship have learned of the passing of Dr. Jack Templeton. Dr. Jack, as he was widely and fondly known, was the President of the John Templeton Foundation, founded by his father, the late Sir John Templeton. The Foundation has, for decades, been the preeminent philanthropic visionary and supporter of character education, among many other cutting edge areas of scholarly and practical inquiry. We at the Center for Character and Citizenship produced some of our most significant work through the generosity of the Templeton Foundation. Our deep-felt condolences go out to the Templeton family and all members of the Foundation.
