Mary Anne Hoppe

Mary Anne Hoppe is the Associate Director of the Leadership Academy in Character Education in the College of Education at the University of Missouri- St. Louis.  Formerly the Director of Gifted and Talented Programs for St. Louis Public Schools, Mary Anne is a seasoned urban educator having retired after 36 years of service in St. Louis Public Schools.  Mary Anne obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Harris Teacher's College in St. Louis (Now Harris Stowe State University).  She holds a Master's Degree in Education - Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and a Principal's Certificate for Missouri. She is Currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program at UMSL in Educational Psychology.  Mary Anne provides professional development workshops and consulting in character education, leadership, gifted education and human relations.
